Welcome to my artistic world, where the beauty of the ocean and abstract expression converge. The ocean, with all its mystery and depth, inspires my work – I paint how the ocean feels rather than only what it looks like. The ocean is so full of wonder, beauty, power, depth and mystery. To me this also speaks of who we are as people. With acrylic paint and silicone oil, using pouring, heat and layering, and often adding elements such as gold leaf or sand, I create intricate patterns and textures, capturing the dynamic and ever-changing nature of the sea.
I am a Bristol-based oceanic abstract artist, represented by KELLART Gallery, and to date I have exhibited and sold work in galleries and art fairs all over the country, including Bristol, London, Bath, Stroud, Surrey, Brighton, Worcester and Chichester, and have been featured in various magazines, such as House & Garden and Somerset Life. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
