Exhibiting at North Street Gallery

Ours is a community art gallery, run by artists. Our remit is to help new and emerging artists to exhibit and sell their work, often for the first time, alongside more established artists. We build a friendly community of artists at the gallery and encouraging sharing of ideas and experience.

What does it cost?

• We charge a rental fee for your exhibition space. This ranges between £45 and £90 per month depending on the size of the space.
• We charge 15% commission on all sales.

How does it work?

• We run sessions that last 3 months. These are Feb-Apr, May-Jul, Aug-Oct and Nov-Jan.
• Artists join us for at least one 3-month session after which there may be an opportunity to stay for a further session or to go on our waiting list to return.
• You will be required to help with stewarding the gallery. It’s enjoyable and informative and you get to meet the customers. You will need to commit to at least two 3-hour stewarding shifts per month.
• Approximately one month after the start of each session we hold a Meet The Artists event. This is open to the public and takes place during a weekend. It’s a great opportunity to meet the other exhibiting artists and some of our customers.
• The gallery is open 11-5 every day except Tuesday and Wednesday.
