b. 2002, Shropshire, now based in Bristol, Lois Pearson graduated from the University of Westminster in 2024 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Film.
Lois primarily paints the local countryside and flora, and working outdoors is an integral part of her process. The light, warmth and sounds around her outside shape the piece’s tone, whether it is soft or striking. Lois aims to encourage the viewer to see the world through an enchanted lens and evoke a sense of performance through her representation of the landscape.
Her paintings centre on trees, shadows, flowers and the garden. Using oil paint and pastels, she depicts nature and the movement within our ever-changing landscape. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy (2026), the Royal Watercolour Society (2023), and the Royal Academy of Arts, London (2020).
