I paint mainly in oils, often after sketching in oil pastels, and then beginning the long-drawn-out process of building up the layers of oil paint in the studio. Even very small.paintings may take months to complete. Sometimes I opt for a dashed off acrylic version when I’m in a hurry. But oils are my first love.
