I am an intuitive abstract artist, working primarily with oils.
I am endlessly fascinated and inspired by imagery, imaginings and similarities of life on both microscopic and macroscopic levels and how their recurring energies, formulas and patterns connect and merge in us. The observers. Human beings. What we perceive through the micro scope on a cellular level is often similar in form to what we see through a telescope on an interstellar level.
I love to work with changing light so my paintings morph and change as light changes through the day. Through extensive layering and glazing, I attempt to give my paintings a living presence so they never look the same from any two angles.
