A printmaker and photographer working out of Spike Print Studio and BV Studios in Bristol, Jonathan’s work consists of screenprints, digital art and alternative-process photography.
He has a fascination for halftones and 4-colour separations within his screenprints. At the other end of the scale are his abstract monoprints which he often overlays with graphic elements in shiny metallic foil. He uses alternative-process photography in the form of cross-processed film, photographic emulsion extracted from Polaroids, reclaimed Polaroid negatives and cyanotpes (blueprints).
