A printmaker, mixed-media artist and photographer based at BV Studios in Bristol, my work includes screenprints, alternative-process photography, collage and acrylic painting.
I enjoy the expressive freedom of abstract monoprinting, overlaying this with graphic elements in metallic foil. My screenprints often feature architecture and I have a particular love of brutalism and brutalist-adjacent buildings. I use photographic emulsion extracted from Polaroids, reclaimed Polaroid negatives and cyanotpes (blueprints). Many of these techniques are combined in my mixed-media works on canvas which are inspired by my thoughts about personal experience and my place in the world. I love gold!
