I love painting abstracts which explore vivid colour and rich experience. In particular I’m inspired by the experience of water, swimming and sunlight. My works are mainly made using acrylics but also a wide variety of mixed media to explore the fascinating process of painting. I studied at Warwick University and Cyprus College of Art (where I picked up my palette of Mediterranean colours). I recently completed an MA in Fine Art from Bath Spa University. Living in Bristol means I am lucky to be inspired by both the urban diversity and beautiful surrounding landscape. I have recently become preoccupied by the interplay of natural beauty and urban decay, and both find a place in my paintings.
