My name is David Watts. I’m a sixty one year-old bricklayer, born and based in Bristol. My journey into art began unexpectedly-after years of critiquing a painting on our wall, my wife jokingly bought me a children’s set of watercolours and said, “If you think you can do better, have a go.” I took her up on the challenge, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Painting has become a source of both enjoyment and relaxation for me. I mainly work with acrylics and enjoy exploring a variety of subjects, particularly landscapes and wildlife.
