I’m a Bristol based Printmaker and Illustrator,
My work entails a variety of media such as; Mono-print, Digital Design, Screen-print, Ceramics, and hand-drawn compositions. I find inspiration through the use of bold and bright colours, and the ways they evoke a variety of emotion.
I enjoy focusing closely on layers of colour and texture to tell a visual story and to create a feeling of familiarity wthin the viewer. I believe colour to be such an important part of the human experience, its influence on emotion, behaviour and mood is powerful and is made to be celebrated.
Experimenting with the combination of abstract mark-making and shape within my design process allows me freedom to create prints that can be unexpected and unpredictable. Mono-printing gifts me with the ability to make art out of uncertain movement and simply play, as apposed to creating within the lines.
