I graduated from UWE Bristol Fine Art in 1999 and work out of BV Studios in Bedminster, Bristol. My work is an exploration of the indescribable, the ineffable, and the sublime. I use oil paints, acrylics, and acrylic pens to create playful, colorful paintings that aim to evoke an immediate, inquisitive response from the viewer. Inspired by geographical diagrams, nature, spirituality, and the human experience, the paintings start out with a vague notion of their final appearance. But I take pleasure in allowing the artwork to guide itself during its creation, embracing spontaneity and intuition. For me, art serves as a potent medium for communication, self-expression, and transformation. Through my work, I aspire to share my vision of the indescribable with others.
