Nature has no beginning or end, no boundaries. Reflecting this, I produce my paintings on location in the open air, with representations of the natural world, and in my studio with paintings that are inspired by theories and experiments in the realm of quantum particles where all matter begins.
I’ve been image making all my life, drawing, taking photographs and painting. In latter years painting has become my preferred medium. No other allows me to take the time to contemplate a subject and enjoy the manipulation of a material with colour and texture.
