I’m drawn to cities for their energy, their complexity, and their messiness. I like to draw the places where people spend time — it’s less about the buildings themselves and more about celebrating the life that happens between them. My drawings are sketchy and imperfect, just like the places I’m drawn to. Working in black ink, I try to capture places that interest me, that are lived-in, and that are full of character.
