My work is inspired by a deep emotional connection to landscapes, especially the moors and coastlines of North Cornwall and, more recently, the rich, varied terrain of Spain. Through mixed media and printmaking, I explore the dialogue between the outer world and my inner response.
In my abstract landscapes, I aim to capture not only the surface but also the layers of history, memory, and resonance beneath. I embrace both accident and design, letting the materials guide me as much as I guide them, creating a balance of intention and spontaneity.
Drawn to ancient landscapes, I seek to embody their echoes of the past—a meditation on how the land shapes us, and how we respond.
