I started out as a figurative sculptor, working mainly in bronze, but these days I’m exploring the figure through painting – mostly oils and acrylics. The shift from 3D to 2D hasn’t changed my obsession with the human form; it’s just given me new tools to work with. Where I once shaped with my hands, I now build with brushstrokes, still thinking about weight, posture, and presence. Painting lets me play more with colour and mood, while still holding onto that sense of structure and emotion.
