Born in Caracas, Venezuela, I draw on my mother’s work (a professional painter in her own right) and my architectural background to inform my approach to painting. My work is deeply influenced by the structural balance of form and color. Trained in artistic drawing and oil painting at the Instituto Federico Brandt (Caracas, Venezuela), I have spent over three decades exploring how the geometry of space interacts with organic forms, seeking harmony between the tangible and the abstract.
Living and exhibiting across Spain, the UK, and the US has allowed me to absorb and reflect upon a wide array of landscapes and cultures. This exposure has enriched my practice, bringing a multi-dimensional quality to my art, where Latin American vibrancy intertwines with European Expressionism. At the core of my work is a search for connection—between past and present, between the physical and the metaphysical.
